Project Summary
40 years in the future is a project designed to predict the future of the world in 40 years based off a variety of geopolitical, ecological and domestic trends. The goal of the project is to as accurately as possible portray the future landscape of the world. In the project I explore trends and conflicts that will shape the world over the next 40 years. I predict conflict based on a variety of factors, such as: ethnic composition, climate, political efficacy and population growth rate among others. The project is presented as a website that allows you to easily navigate from page to page.
Robert, you displayed an expansive knowledge of trends in geopolitics and your deep interest in the research was evident. Looking forward to your insights on Chinese-American relations. If you haven’t read it, you would enjoy the the recent book, The World, by Richard Haas, former director of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is clearly opinionated but his deep research in all levels of geopolitics mirrors your own!
