Another World : The CBGB Documentary

For my march madness project, I created a documentary called “Another World” about the club/bar that became the birthplace of punk, CBGB. During the 70s in The East Village NYC on The Bowery, CBGB was at the forefront of new music and style, eventually becoming a landmark in the rock world and shutting down in 2006. I was lucky enough to be able to interview artists who were there from the start, audio technicians, and historians. With all the footage I got, I created a documentary showing the hardships of New York in the 70s and 80s, the beginnings of punk, and the minds of the people who were there when it happened.
