Project Summary
Provided with an opportunity to develop a rich understanding for a topic of my choosing, for my March Madness project I decided to bake five cakes, four of which coming from varying countries. During this time I was able to bring the countries of Austria, England, and Mexico, into my kitchen through the art of baking. From the classic American Birthday cake we all know and love, to the exclusive and trademarked Austrian Sacher Torte, each cake brings a unique story. My initiative throughout March, and the year as a whole, was defined by my ability to uncover these stories, while creating stories of my own in the process.
