Project Summary
Earlier this year, when I was instructed to come up with a proposal for this project, I knew I was interested in doing something art related. For this project, I decided to make several paintings. In the early months of brainstorming ideas, I was fixated on making a series of paintings that coordinated in style and category. I contemplated doing a series on dreams or sisterhood, or both. I decided I wanted each painting to be its own, individual piece. With this decision, there was much more freedom. By the time I started a new painting, I was tired of the old one, making each new canvas a refreshing new opportunity. This made for five unique images painted with Acrylic and Oil colors.
