Does LSD Cause People to Commit Violent Acts?

The starting point of this project was my interest in the world of abnormal psychology. I find it fascinating to imagine what it must be like to have the perspective of someone with abnormal brain chemistry. This got me thinking about the Charles Manson murders and the question of how could a group of people become convinced to commit the heinous crimes that they did. One conventional idea was. that the tasking of LSD had induced a psychotic state that led to the murders. So, the goal of this project was initially to discover if a psychotic state of mind could be activated through a substance like LSD.
