Every song tells a story…

For my March Madness project I created a short album of my music and posted it on Soundcloud. Although my process to get there took a lot of time and effort it was completely worth it to have this experience and have seen what I have found in songwriting during this whole thing. The original goal of my project was to research songwriting a bit and just try writing songs for a few weeks in March and make a powerpoint about it; but contrary to my original plan I ended up loving songwriting and this process has allowed me to take the first of many steps towards understanding myself as a musician. Although my final product presented here for you today is not perfect, it is the first draft of many; and I will keep writing.
