How to solve New York’s climate change problem

Posted on May 3, 2021 by Paul Carey 1 Comment on How to solve New York’s climate change problem

Project Summary

I found  a few methods to decrease carbon footprint and minimize the risk of flooding and overheating.  What I found is a new space effective method to create more greenery which decreases carbon footprint and lowers overheating. I looked up examples of what New York could do and could become and I found Singapore as the model city to what New York could become. I also looked up disasters like Sandy and Katrina as preventative cause. At first I knew I wanted to do something regarding Climate change. After thinking I decided to make a website on the history and future of climate change. I realized that was too specific and after a round of feedback with my advisor, I narrowed it down to New York. Making the website felt like a chore so I talked it over with my assigned expert and I added an element of physical work. I am making downsized solutions to climate change in New York in addition to the website.  I am making an aquaponic farm which is a water efficient way to farm.
