The goal for this project was to create a 2d video game that had a “comic book” feel to it, characters would have outlines, and would be primarily shaded in black. Throughout the process, I learned more about different aspects of game development, from learning how to develop a game idea, to learning how to code in order to bring those ideas to create a product. I learned how to draw concepts for my characters, and then animate them. Along the way, I faced many difficulties, which made me have to compromise my original idea, but it also let me experiment with new things, such as digital sculpting and 3d modeling/animating. Throughout the process of developing my game, I learned new skills such as programming and 3d modeling.
