Project Summary
For my March Madness project, I created a wall based off of a MoonBoard. A MoonBoard is an interactive climbing wall used for training. To create my wall, I combined the design of an outdoor 45° wall and a MoonBoard, as I wanted the outdoor aspect of the 45° and the training aspect that MoonBoards give.
As a competitive climber, training was very hard to do during COVID-19 without the gyms open, and I needed a way to keep up with everything if anything like COVID happens again. Although I had already wanted to build my own training wall, Grace Church’s March Madness program gave me a chance to start and complete my idea with a plan and proper support.
