Scientists Vs. Aliens

Posted on May 27, 2020 by Peter Johnstone Leave a Comment on Scientists Vs. Aliens

Project Summary

My March Madness project is a board game that combines the use of luck and skill. The summary is that there are two teams: the scientists, and the aliens. Both these teams share the common goal of trying to reach the rocket ship before the other team. The aliens want to use it to escape, and the scientists want to reach the rocket in order to detain and research the aliens that are stranded on Earth. The game is formatted in a way such that the rules are always changing, and basically no two games will feel the same. For example, in one game the police could block a certain exit, whereas in another scenario, the rocket could be in a different location than previously expected. The game is designed to evolve, and the way it evolves is up to the players’ decisions as well as luck.
