Project Summary

Have you ever wondered how the future of the makeup industry would look like? Well I want to purpose a future where there are makeup shades for every person despite their skin tone. In my project I am delving into what is colorism and how it has impacted the makeup industry. I answer the question by creating a website that explains what is colorism, how the makeup industry is influenced by colorism, and quotes on what do my classmates and teachers feel about the makeup industry and the fashion industry as a whole. My website also has a photo portion that displays the diversity that the makeup industry should have and strive for, for the future.
