Project Summary
For my March Madness project, I came up with a formula that calculates the value of MLB teams and players. As a Mets fan, I am used to seeing statistics and calculations that make the Mets look bad. However, my formula uses legitimate statistics in order to prove that the Mets are better than everyone believes they are. By factoring out luck and calculating the true talent of each MLB player and team, I was able to prove that the 2019 Mets were better than they seemed.
